Mike Vamp aka Mike Pagliosa

Mike Vamp (born in Frankfurt am Main as Mike Pagliosa) is a German Dj, musician and music producer. Together with DJ Clé he also performs under the name of Maertini Broes. He grew up in Frankfurt in the seventies and was active as a guitarist in the German punk scene. In 1980 he moved to West-Berlin and DJ-ed at an in scene place called „MusicHall“ until 1984. After a three-year stay in London from 1986 till 1989 he signed a contract with a major record label. After the label´s breakdown he moved back to the new and united Berlin and joined the electro-hiphop band „Space Cowboys“ from 1990 until 1992. In 1995 he became a member and DJ of the „Oceanclub“, a club and radio project by Gudrun Gut (Malaria) and Thomas Fehlmann (The Orb). In September 1997 he met former „E-werk“ DJ Clé at an electronic adaptation of Mozart's opera „Don Giovanni“ which held place at the famous techno club „E-Werk“. During this project they founded Märtini Brös (later: Maertini Broes) and released on Steve Bug’s label Pokerflat Recordings.  2001 Mike and Clé started their own studio called „Audioparkstudio“ Berlin. They produced bands like Artist Unknown (Disko B, Datapunk) and released many remixes for artists like Scissor Sisters, Tocotronic, 2-Raumwohnung, Louie Austen, Billie Ray Martin, Paul Kalkbrenner and Patricia Kaas. 2006 Mike Vamp co-founded the Berlin Arena-Club and was a resident DJ until 2008. Since 2011 Mike Vamp is a resident dj at the Berlin club „Suicide Circus“ and rebuild a new studio with his friend and former E-werk dj Terribelle.
